Dogs are like chocolates in a box. You expect sweetness, and you may even be able to sort out the confectioners code of swirls and shapes that are supposed to tell you what is inside. But be prepared to be surprised. There is great variety between makers and brands, and not every candy is as presented. Be prepared to be surprised. Work with what you get, and cultivate an attitude of humor, delight, and gratitude. After all, you are almost certainly getting candy, and not a foil-wrapped turd.
