I do not roller-blade (yet), but Austin is a great roller-skater and was a star roller-hockey player in Junior High. He has control here, don't kid yourself.
I was on a bike with a point-and-shoot camera in one hand while I steered. Brakes? Not so much.
Lucy and Austin can do four or five miles like this, with Lucy pulling in harness, and Austin more-or-less hanging on for the ride.
Lucy loves it! This is the Huckleberry Trail in Blacksburg, Virginia -- a great trail for roller-blading with a dog.
As I have noted in the past, one of the main problems with Pit Bulls is that most owners are not willing to take the time and energy necessary to give these active dogs the excercise and road miles they need. The result is a puppy that grows up to be a tough, under-trained and under-excercised teenager that eats the couch and kills the neighbor's cat. And what happens next? Another Pit Bull joins the 400,000,000 pounds of dead Pit Bulls we kill and throw into landfills and cremation ovens every year.
