Humane Society WTF?? HumaneWatch WTF?

I was up on Capitol Hill today, and as I left via the Union Station meto, I noticed these billboards on the subway entrance walls -- a little something to educate Congressional staffers and tourists alike.
 

 

 

Of course, HumaneWatch is just another liar for hire, same as the Humane Society.

HSUS is a direct mail fright factory, while HumaneWatch is nothing more than a corporate "shill shop" for the beef and restaurant industries, the circus crowd, and puppy peddlers of every stripe.

HumaneWatch will not tell you where it's money comes from, and HSUS will not honestly tell you where all it's money goes.

But I will tell you where HSUS's money goes, and the challenge to Wayne Pacelle and his staff at HSUS stands -- open your books. 

Ditto for HumaneWatch, which holds no high ground so long as they refuse to say where their money comes from.  For them, WTF stands for Who is Their Funding?

At least HSUS does a very little good for animals with the more than $100 million a year that they hoover up from old ladies and the naive under false pretenses. 

HumaneWatch? 

It does not do a thing for animals, other than encourage more for-profit exploitation with little or no oversight on the quality of care provided to those animals.
