The Weight :: Gillian Welch with Old Crow

This is Gillian Welch and David Rawlings with Old Crow Medicine Show playing "The Weight," a song made famous by The Band.

For the record (pun intended), the reference to Nazareth is to Nazareth, Pennsylvania which is the home of the Martin Guitar company (the Scottish band Nazareth was named after this town, not Jesus' birth place). Actually, to put a point on it, the band Nazareth was named after the reference to Nazareth, Pennsylvania made in this song. Ironically, Gillian plays a 1956 Gibson and Rawlings plays a 1935 Epiphone Olympic archtop. Too much trivia? Yeah, I do that. Apologies.
