Dog Blogging for Profit?
This blog has a strict "no ads or payola of any kind" policy, but if others can generate a small income stream from blogging, more power to them. Scottie News says it is willing to sell out if the price is right!  Anyone seeking to advertise here can successfully advertise there, and YES, it's a good blog!

Will Pet Hair Void Your Computer Warranty?

First U.S. Predator-Proof Fence Delivers on Bird Protection:
A 2,040-foot long, 6.5-foot-high, stainless steel fence installed in Hawaii to create a 59-acre area exclosure at Ka’ena Point Natural Area Reserve has already been a terrific success, resulting in a jump in the decimated population of Wedge-tailed Shearwaters which nest in the remote coastal area.  Removing predators such a fox, feral cats, rats, hogs and some birds, such as crows, is key to endangered bird species survival all over the world.

Eight Home Remedies that Work:
Allegedly.  Among them:
duct tape to remove warts, Vicks Vapor Rub to remove nail fungus, and oatmeal to soothe eczema.
Not sure I believe any of it, but I am always looking for Old Wives to tell us something right!

Things I Did Not Know:

Moore!  It's the Law!
Intel and Micron have created a new chip that will put
a terabit (128GB) of data in an area the size of a fingertip
.  So when will this replace the unreliable hard drive, eh?

Do You Stay Up Late Wondering About Ostrich Penis's?
No? Me either, but I have written about animal genitalia before (see here and here and here) and so when Scientific American put out an article entitled "Ostrich Penis Clears Up Evolutionary Mystery" I had to read it.

Correlation is Causation:
All you need is a leading question and two graphs.
